As we continue to grow our team in Victoria, we have recognized that we need to create a new position to help us better serve the homeowners and future homeowners for the projects we take on. This new role will enhance what we do at MAC Renovations and MAC Island Construction.
What is a residential estimator?
The residential estimator that we’re looking for is someone who is detail-oriented. They can effectively assess a home renovation or construction project to help us determine how long we’ll need to complete the project and what the costs are so we can share that with our clients.
The estimator will prepare takeoffs and materials and labour estimates, conduct scope document reviews, proactively identify (and solve) design-related challenges, and review the feasibility of the design package, as well as build and maintain a database of historical data to help us track budget vs. actual on MAC and MIC projects. Additional duties and responsibilities will be discussed during the interview process. We want to know what you bring to the table so we can put your talents to work to help us continue to be Victoria’s most trusted renovation contractor.
