Originally from the East Coast, Marlene has earned her life experience around the world: her West Coast adventure and education in design began in the Comox Valley, then she moved to Vancouver to complete her educational goals in architectural design and graphical technical communications at BCIT. In Vancouver, she worked with developers and builders before launching an interior design studio, where, for twenty years, she helped renovators and builders across the lower mainland impress their clients. Marlene has recently returned to Vancouver Island after living in Spain for three years.
Today, as MAC’s Design Manager, Marlene leads the design team to help marry the various visions and communication styles of our clients to find the constructability of a project, ensuring their aesthetic is showcased and the design satisfies their needs, goals, and dreams.
